James Jean

I really appreciate this stuff! His website explains his process and I'm really drawn to his graphite drawings and how they are transformed into full colored illustrations. He has a really whimsical quality to his images that seem like something I'd like to do.

Drought

I'll be installing my junior review March 12th, the day before my 21st birthday. I am behind and not sure how it's going to come together. It is a bad time to be uninspired.

Typography Assignment

Jan Terri

Photobooth of a sketch for Digital Illustration - the assignment is to draw (within Photoshop) someone we hate. I'd be lying if i said I hate Jan Terri but its clear shes the only thing that matters...

This is exciting

For my junior review Lacie is going to help me screenprint the lumpkin pattern onto wallpaper. Since its a repeating pattern, we'll hopefully be able to cover quite a bit of wall for a background to all the illustrations...

fueled by carrots and other superfoods

Long day operating with no sleep. 18 compositions the night before and by 8:00pm tonight there was no way I had the energy to work in class. So instead of working on my bedsheets/bedspread design i doodled lumpkins and played the piano.

Flirt & Fancy

This is one of my 18 compositions. We were given a wordlist and asked to choose and visually represent the word's meaning. Fancy & Flirt. I'll post all 18 later this week after I refine them a bit.

Critique was a little disappointing but I don't mind.
